Pecan pie is always a hit at our family’s Thanksgiving celebration! This pie recipe has been in our family for generations. It’s a simple and wholesome recipe that tastes amazing!
With everything seeming to be so expensive these days, I made sure to link budget friendly ingredients!

Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup pecan halves (or more – measure with your heart)
- Dash of salt
- Betty Crocker Pie Crust Mix
Instructions:
Crust:
Make the Betty Crocker Pie Crust Mix according to the instructions on the box.
Roll out half the dough to fit a 9-inch pie dish. This will be approximately 12-inches in diameter.
Mold the dough into the pie dish, fold over the edges and set aside.
Filling:
Beat eggs, sugar, salt, corn syrup and melted butter in a large mixing bowl.
Scatter pecans in the pie crust.
Poor mixture over the pecans in the pie crust.
Add more pecans, if desired.
Baking:
Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
